Students will engage in a variety of cardiovascular exercises, such as fun choreographed dances and HIIT, that will improve overall cardiorespiratory fitness. This course will utilize class discussions, assignments, and student participation to enable students to: (1) Understand the health and skill-related components of physical fitness (2) Develop programs to improve their cardiorespiratory fitness level (3) Apply the principles and concepts of physical fitness as they relate to overall health, fitness, and well-being, which facilitates a healthy, active, lifestyle.
