This course allows students to further develop their golf swing and short game. This course will also review golf concepts, rules, and etiquette. This course will utilize class discussions, class assignments, and student participation to enable students to: (1) Understand basic components of skill-related and health-related physical fitness, (2) Develop physical fitness and motor skills, and (3) Gain knowledge to make intelligent choices that contribute to a healthy, active lifestyle. Prerequisite: Students must be able to identify various clubs (irons, woods, etc.), and other golf equipment, as well as be able to identify the anatomy of the different golf clubs. Students must be able to demonstrate a proper club grip while maintaining a proper stance and posture. Students must be able to identify 4 different types of shots and be able to demonstrate the PHYSWELL 10 positions of the golf swing.
