Students will refine stroke techniques with more emphasis on spin, power, and variety. This course will also incorporate advanced strategies and tactics with performance-enhancing competitive drills. This course will utilize class discussions, class assignments, and student participation to enable students to: (1) Understand basic components of health-related physical fitness, cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength and endurance, and flexibility (2) Develop physical fitness and motor skills, and (3) Gain knowledge to make intelligent choices that contribute to a healthy, active lifestyle. Prerequisites: PHYSWELL PHYSWELL 28 or average ability in fundamental strokes, and regular playing experience.
