BIO 83X is a 1-unit companion to BIO 83 focused on strengthening problem-solving, critical thinking, and data interpretation skills in biochemistry and molecular biology. Through hands-on, visual, and application-based activities, students will reinforce and extend concepts from lecture while building a deeper, more integrated understanding of the molecular mechanisms that underlie biological processes. The course is designed to support skill development within BIO 83 and should be taken alongside it.
