This course focuses on discussing user-centered design, development, and evaluation of AI solutions in healthcare by drawing upon interdisciplinary research from different communities including human-computer interaction, medical informatics, and cognitive science. Students will engage in review of research articles to write weekly critiques and a final written perspective. Background in human-computer interaction, design, and/or medicine cab be helpful but not required.
