This course will bring you to the cutting edge of applying analytics to people management and organization design. You will learn how to deploy analytics to find better solutions for a broad range of organizational issues, ranging from employee selection and retention to organizational structure and even organizational culture. We will cover a range of analytical techniques with broad applicability (machine learning, network analysis, and NLP for example), and learn how to apply them within an analytics cycle that includes: - Perception (finding out what is happening in the organization now) - Prediction (forecasting what is likely to happen in the future) - Prototyping (testing which solutions are likely to be effective in your organization). This is a hands-on class. It will rely extensively on group exercises, in which you will be able to learn enough about analytical tools and programming to be able to collaborate with analysts and evaluate their work. What you learn in the class will be an asset to you in a wide range of jobs linked to human resources, strategy execution, post-merger integration, and organization (re)design, regardless of how big or small your organization is. The course has been designed to bring you value regardless of how much technical knowledge you already have
