The aims of this course are to build students' proficiencies in designing and analyzing critical qualitative research. This course is meant to provide opportunities to add tools to your qualitative methodological toolkit and examine qualitative approaches that have been brought to inquiry in educational studies. Topics are focused on data analysis and representation, and writing social sciences research. Students working on proposals and dissertations should enroll as these topics will be examined in the context of the design, development, and write-up of these products. Given the timeline, in order to be part of this course, you must have data collected.
