The focus of CS 247G is an introduction to theory and practice of designing games. It's taught in a studio format; i.e. light on lecture, lots of activities and plenty of media. Attendance is mandatory. We will make digital and paper games, do rapid iteration and run user research studies appropriate to game design. This class has two projects and we will cover a variety of genres, from narrative to pure strategy. If you are a non-cs major, you do not have to have taken CS 147. We'd love to have music, art and writing students.
