Course focuses on the specific methods of communication about health research. In this course we discuss who we communicate with about science, how we do it, and the implications and consequences of our communications. This course will provide an overview of different means of communicating about science and will provide hands on opportunities to demonstrate health research communications. The course is designed to generate new ideas about health research communications including to consider and challenge the limitations of existing paradigms for these communications. We will consider communications specific to certain audiences including communities, researchers, and policy makers. We will consider examples across the health research spectrum and students will identify and generate examples from their fields of interest.
