The first course in the three-quarter sequence. Turkish for Heritage Learners focuses on advancing communication skills and proficiency while building on previous linguistic and cultural knowledge. The fundamental goal of this course is to help learners to use and expand advanced-level language skills, comprehend, and interpret authentic texts of various modes and genres, analyze, and reflect on culturally and historically situated practices and diverse perspectives. Prerequisites: TURKLANG 2A or TURKLNAG TURKLANG 23, or prior knowledge of Turkish and consultation with the instructor is necessary
