Students participate as consultants in the department's drop-in consulting service, analyze client data, and prepare formal written reports. Seminar provides supervised experience in short term consulting. May be repeated for credit. Enrollment open to PhD and master's students in Statistics, Data Science, and other quantitative disciplines, who have completed graduate coursework in statistics or applied data analysis. Examples of qualifying classes are STATS STATS 203, STATS STATS 209, STATS STATS 263, or Stats STATS 305A (or classes with equivalent content).
