Introduces medical, non-medical graduate, and undergraduate students to the field of military medicine and the diverse career pathways within it. Through an exploration of training and professional development, the course follows the journey from students to military physicians, operational medics, researchers, and senior military leaders. Emphasis is placed on the lived experiences, ethical challenges, leadership demands, and evolving identities of clinicians practicing in operational, humanitarian, and academic military settings. Additional topics include combat casualty care, special operations medicine, disaster and humanitarian response, rehabilitation and veteran care, military medical innovation, global health engagement, and the intersection of military medicine with public policy, research, and emerging technologies.
