Develop the practical teaching skills required to be a successful Teaching Assistant for the Physics department, to be taken concurrently with a first TAship in an introductory Physics course. Prior teaching experience required. The class consists of 2-3 in-class sessions in the first 5 weeks of the quarter and workshops integrated into the weekly meetings of the TAship. Attendance at all class sessions and active engagement during workshops is mandatory for successful completion of this course. Students with no teaching experience should take Physics PHYSICS 294.
