VISITING: Open to visitors. TYPE OF CLERKSHIP: Elective. DESCRIPTION: The OPHT 398A clinical clerkship is best described as a preceptorship. The student spends 4 weeks with a single physician. The preceptor can work Byers Eye Institute Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, or *PAVMC (*available to Stanford students). OPHT 398A can be an excellent rotation to form a more substantive relationship with a mentor. PREREQUISITES: Students must contact faculty members directly to arrange their preceptorship. After a student identifies their preceptor, email Brooke Byron (bbyron@stanford.edu) and Dr. Eubee Koo (eubeekoo@stanford.edu) with the preceptor ccd.
