Students will work in project teams on problems central to the mission of an SF-based international NGO that employs community-driven and policy-level strategies to protect people and the environment from harm caused by internationally financed development projects. Students will visit the NGO, learn about international development and accountability problems, and in the end present a policy report. The course is open only to IR majors and capped at INTNLREL 12 students, with priority given to seniors. This is a Cardinal Course certified by the Haas Center for Public Service.
