The course proposes a reading of Clarice Lispector's main works, including some novels and short stories, such as Near to the Wild Heart, Agua Viva, The Passion According to G.H., The Hour of the Star, A Breath of Life, and selected short stories. We will consider the aesthetic and philosophical aspects of her work and examine the main critical readings of it, such as those by Benedito Nunes, Helene Cixous, and Marta Peixoto, which range from existentialism to feminism.
