How To Make Art Work

UNITS:4
GRADING:Satisfactory/No Credit
LEVEL:Graduate
GER:—

Light, sound, narrative, and presence are the most powerful levers for shifting human consciousness, yet traditional design rarely teaches us how to wield them with emotional weight - or to confront the reality that you cannot change a broken system outside yourself without first interrogating the systems living inside you. This studio treats artistic creation not as static ornament, but as an active, strategic force for social transformation and radical self-examination. Pairing the accessibility of design with the uncompromising edge of fine art, you will compose soundscapes, produce short films, take the mic in live performance sessions, and stage public artistic interventions. By pushing you directly into controversy, emotional risk, and creative discomfort, this course helps you turn personal conviction into provocative public artifacts - equipping you with a multi-medium portfolio that proves creative expression can change a civilization by first changing the person making it.
