The overarching goal of this course is to refresh your understanding of unifying chemical concepts that have been widely used to decode the logic of biology. The emphasis of this course will be on qualitative and quantitative aspects of small molecule and protein chemistry in cells of the human body. The course assumes that you have a foundational knowledge of physical and organic chemistry and that you have taken at least one undergraduate-level course in Biochemistry.
