A field-based course, Plant EcoEvo will examine topics of plant evolutionary ecology, biodiversity, biogeography, and conservation. In addition to the weekly in-classroom lectures, the course will include 1-day excursions to field sites (on a Saturday) in the Bay Area, including the Jasper Ridge Preserve. The class will analyze the data collected from the field trips and other on-campus activities and will learn how to write scientific papers on those topics.
